PRIVATE PILOT COURSE

Your gateway to becoming a licensed pilot and flying single-engine aircraft for personal or recreational use

REQUIREMENTS

At least 17 years old

Read, speak, write, and understand English

Hold at least a 3rd Class Medical Certificate

FLIGHT HOURS

Under 14 CFR § 61.109, the Federal Aviation Administration requires a minimum of 40 flight hours including:

  • ● 20 hours of flight training with an instructor

  • ● 10 hours of solo flight

This price includes, in a cessna CE-172:

30 hours with instructor

  • 10 hours of solo

10 hours of ground school

The training goes at your own pace. It can be completed in a minimum of 2 to 3 months.

INSTRUMENT RATING COURSE

Allows a pilot to fly in a wider range of weather conditions by relying on the aircraft’s instruments.

With this rating, pilots can safely fly through clouds, rain, and low visibility using air traffic control guidance and precise navigation systems.

It’s a key step for anyone looking to fly more confidently, professionally, or pursue a career in aviation.

FLIGHT HOURS

Under 14 CFR § 61.65, the Federal Aviation Administration requires a minimum of:

  • ● 50 hours of cross country flight as a pilot in command (PIC)

  • ● 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time

  • ● At least 15 hours of instrument flight training from an authorized instructor

COMMERCIAL PILOT COURSE

Be at least 18 years old

Hold a Private Pilot Certificate (PPL)

Hold at least a 2nd Class Medical Certificate

FLIGHT HOURS

Under 14 CFR § 61.129, the Federal Aviation Administration requires a minimum of 250 flight hours including:

  • ● 100 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC)

  • ● 50 hours of cross-country (PIC)

  • ● 10 hours of flight training in a complex or technically advanced airplane (TAA)

● 10 hours with instructor (C172 TAA)

  • ● 5 hours of checkride preparation (C172)

● 5 hours of ground school

The Commercial Pilot Course can be completed in just two to three weeks.
